the room was ready prior to the official check-in time, appreciated.
The location proved problematic. It was a bit distant from the city center. i relied on gps, it directed me incorrectly for nearly half an hour (i drove in circles).

the staff was very friendly and helpful. my room was lovely with a view of the river. everything in the hotel was super clean (i really mean it).
the rooftop bar closed early, at 8 pm. the pool and the entire roof terrace closed at 9 pm. it was hard to reach nearby restaurants by foot.

The rooftop pool provided fine views. It seemed like a romantic escape. the staff was helpful, aiding with dinner reservations and wine tasting tours. the homemade hazelnut spread at breakfast was a good highlight, crepes and omelettes had fresh vegetables.
the room lacked sufficient overhead lighting! making it a bit dark in the evenings.
